Dear Parents,
Each week your second grader will be bringing home a Reading Log as part of their weekly homework. The second grade teachers are requiring students to read at least 15 minutes each night, record the title of the book read, and indicate how they liked the book.
If at any time your second grader misplaces his/her reading log, any piece of paper will due as long as the title of the book, the night it was read, and their reaction to the book. We also have placed a copy of the reading log on our blogs so that you have the information needed for your child’s homework.
Below are some reasons why children should be reading both at school and at home!
Thanks,
Second Grade Teachers
